Aloha, I have struggled for quite a few years trying to find a surgeon who would be able to perform the surgery I needed (en bloc explant) and also address all of my concerns and fears. Finally the universe spoke and I was guided to Dr. Restivo. Moment one I knew I had found my surgeon. For those that are in need for the type of surgery I had, Dr. Restivo is the one and only, look no further. Everything went perfectly, she's very flexible for off island patients. Restivo Plastic Surgery has been one of my best experiences on Maui. The all female staff have become like family to me. Since becoming a client, i’ve lost over 80lbs on a GLP-1 and feel like a completely different person. What made a difference for me was having weekly support and encouragement during my weigh in appointments. The support I received focused on both the physical and emotional issues for my weight gain and how to maintain my weight loss going forward. I had a lower facelift procedure done in Boston and Dr. Restivo was the only person to ever explain the causes for some scarring and numbness under my chin. I am considering an additional facelift and would only trust Restivo Plastic Surgery to perform that procedure. A friend of mine went to the other larger plastic surgeon on the island for a facelift. Although it looked OK, she said the experience was awful and very stressful. Dr. Restivo is a warm and caring physician, who has been personally invested in my treatment and success. I never felt rushed and she spent way too much time with me, which is completely out of the norm for 2026. As someone who works in healthcare with my own patients, I often have to rush from one to another, just to meet the productivity standards set by my employer. Restivo Plastic Surgery is an outlier in today’s healthcare System stretched beyond the capacity to care. I look forward every week to my appointment, where I’m able to share my life and my experiences out in the world. Living alone on Maui, they provide me more than just services and have become like family to me. For anyone researching and considering plastic surgery, GLPs or other procedures, I would highly recommend this all female staff for safety and support. I hope this review will convince someone who’s on the fence, to take a chance and invest in yourself. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I came to Dr. Restivo under very stressful and unexpected circumstances after suddenly developing a severe capsular contracture that required surgery. From the beginning, she made an overwhelming situation feel manageable. She took the time to explain everything, walk me through my options, and truly listen to what I wanted.

Her expertise with capsular contracture was incredibly reassuring. She was able to perform a complete capsulectomy and remove the entire capsule, and the results are better than I could have expected. She turned a frightening, stressful situation into an outcome that I am incredibly happy with. What makes Dr. Restivo especially wonderful is how personal her care is. She personally checked on me several times after surgery, and I never felt rushed or like just another patient. Her nurse, Emily, has been kind, friendly, and professional. Gianina, the patient coordinator, is also incredibly nice, helpful, and welcoming, and the entire staff makes you feel genuinely cared for.

I’m so grateful to Dr. Restivo and her whole team for their expertise, compassion, and exceptional care. I couldn’t be happier with my experience or my results.

Terry has a gift to know what women need to look the way they want. She asked what I wanted to do, and she suggested something that she said every woman loves so I said okay and walked out looking 10 years younger! I love her and will go back. She is best plastic surgeon around I wish she didn't move because I loved having her close by. She is great with fat transfer and can definitely sculpt your body. Make sure to listen to her because she tells you the truth. She's reallly good with face fat transfer and cheek fat removal.

I use my hands a lot as a manual Maitland trained physical therapist and had trigger thumb for months. Got the cortisone injection in the A1 region of the thumb 100% better after 48 hours. My problem area was identified quickly and accurately

Dr. Terry Restivo is THE BEST plastic surgeon! Our family was visiting Maui and our 20 month old daughter had an emergency which required immediate surgery. We were terrified not knowing how everything was going to turn out. Dr. Restivo, who has decades of experience, calmed our entire family, guided us thru each step, assured us we were in capable and very experienced hands and whisked our baby off to surgery. She not only saved our daughter’s finger by re-attaching it, but she also did it with such precision. This was incredible considering how small of a body part Dr. Restivo had to work with. We also wanted absolute perfection since our daughter works in entertainment and didn’t want her to lose work over a botched finger. We are so happy with the outcome and can’t thank Dr. Restivo enough!!! She is the BEST!

Excellent experience! Highly recommend! I haven't had botox done in years simply because I haven't found somebody on Maui, that actually gives you what you do pay for. I was getting bunk botox, that lasted one week. Look no further. I have found my doctor of choice for my upcoming breast augmentation and all my maintenance services. I went to Dr Restivo Plastic Surgery for a consultation. Dr. Restivo was both lovely and extremely professional. It turned out that she didn’t think the procedure that I had come to see her about was really what I needed. She gently referred me to trusted dermatology colleagues and said I could reach out to her later for a follow-up or any other procedure that was appropriate. I know surgeons love to cut and sew, but she only had my best interests at heart I trust her.
